Wat Suwannaram School ( Deerat Rangsarit), formerly known as Salaya School 1, was established on September 1, 1904 by the then Prefect of Nakhon Chaisri, who was the founder and bishop of Nyam Chotikaro. The abbot of Suwannaram Temple is the patron of the school. In the initial stages, the Suwannaram Temple's Pavilion was used as a temporary study site. It is open from pre-primary to fourth grade.
Later, the number of pupils grew, the pavilions used as educational facilities were cramped, inconvenient for the management of the school's education, and inadequate to the growing number of students. Bishop D. Suwano The abbot of Wat Suwannaram, along with the people comprising parents, students and the school board of education, held a joint consultation meeting. There is an opinion that a permanent school building should be built.
On January 17, 1956, at 1:00 p.m., a ceremony was held to lay the headstone of a permanent school building, which housed The Buddha Teacher, The President of Nakhon Chai Si District, and Bishop D. Suwano The abbot of Suwannaram Temple presided over the ecclesiastical affairs. Mr. Sang Sang Saraitanon Sheriff Nakhon Chaisri and Lieutenant General Wut Chin-sang. Nakhon Chaisri District Superintendent presided over the secular affairs.
In April 1956, construction of a new building, which was 9 meters wide by 36 meters long, was carried out until August 1956. Lids, floors, doors and windows, construction was thus paused.
February 1958 Mr. Sang Samitanon Sheriff Nakhon Chaisri, Lieutenant-General Wut Chin-sang. Nakhon Chaisri District Education Commissioner contacted for a budget of 100,000 baht, so construction continued until April 2001. In the construction of this school building, the construction operators constructed 8 sets of teachers' tables, 100 sets of school tables, a concrete road in front of the school building, and 1 toilet, 4 rooms, as well as the construction of flagpoles. The total construction cost was 258,238 baht, which is the government's budget combined with public donations. In this regard, the Ministry of Education has sought permission. Dubbed the new school Suwannaram Temple School ( Deerat Rangsarit )
On May 1, 1990, the government granted permission to open up to the 7th grade with the school's initials, N.D. 57
Subsequently, 2012 budgeted for the extension of two classrooms (only the upper floor), 2517 budgeted for the addition of two classrooms, 2015 budgeted for the renovation of both upper and lower classroom buildings, until the full size of the 16-classroom special grade school building, 2004 received the budget for the construction of a 2/28-storey school building, the second half, 9 classrooms, budget 3,250,000 baht, 2005 received the budget for the construction of a 2128-storey school building, the second half, 9 classrooms, budget 3,250,000 baht.
The school's administrators from the inception of the school to date have a total of 15 people, the first of whom is Mr. Shuang Jongsawat. The current school administrator, Ms. Bhatriya Kashhiran, took office on October 11, 2021.
